i speak for many, BIG coach V. 1L.
I nominate coach Jonathan Shepard, Mendocino High School & Middle School, Mendocino,CA. Coach Shepard has been coaching for 20 years, at least. I’ve met parents that went through high school with him that now have kids playing in his school. The man has a pitch that he tends too, by hand, It is worthy of any international pitch. It sits on the bluff over looking the Pacific Ocean. Coach Shepard has been the soul passion of soccer in our community for over 2 decades. He is an inspiration to me, I can only hope that when I’m 68 I’ll still be coaching and have the impact on our youths lives as this man has. He is what soccer & One Love FC are all about.
